These technologies may be used for:

Essential Functions

Essential technologies support functions such as:

  • Page navigation.
  • Shopping-cart operation.
  • Checkout and payment processing.
  • Account authentication.
  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • Remembering privacy preferences.

Disabling essential technologies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning.

Functional and Personalization Purposes

These technologies may remember preferences, improve usability, and personalize products, content, or recommendations.

Analytics

Analytics technologies help OLO understand store traffic, page performance, shopping behavior, errors, and how visitors interact with the Services.

Advertising

Advertising technologies may be used to measure campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, create audiences, or show advertising based on activity on the OLO store and, depending on the technology, activity across other websites or services.

You may manage non-essential technologies through any cookie or privacy controls displayed by the store, through your browser settings, and through legally recognized opt-out preference signals where applicable.

Blocking cookies may affect store functionality and may not delete cookies already stored on your device.

Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

OLO does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

However, some disclosures involving advertising cookies, pixels, analytics technologies, Shopify services, or advertising partners may be defined as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or as targeted advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws.

Where applicable, you may opt out by:

  • Using the “Your Privacy Choices,” “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” or similar privacy control displayed by the OLO store, when available.
  • Adjusting the choices in the store’s cookie or privacy banner.
  • Activating a legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control.

Marketing Communications

OLO may send marketing emails when you subscribe, make a purchase where permitted by law, or otherwise authorize communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by:

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent OLO from sending non-promotional communications relating to orders, payments, security, legal notices, returns, or customer-service requests.

OLO may retain limited information about an unsubscribe request to ensure that the preference continues to be honored.

Depending on your state of residence, the nature of OLO’s activities, and whether the applicable law applies to OLO, you may have the right to:

These rights are subject to applicable definitions, exceptions, thresholds, verification standards, and limitations.

Depending on your interaction with OLO, OLO may have collected the following categories of personal information during the preceding 12 months:

Identifiers

Examples include name, email address, postal address, account name, IP address, device identifiers, and order number.

Customer and Transaction Records

Examples include billing and shipping details, products purchased or considered, payment status, returns, refunds, discounts, and customer-service history.

Internet or Electronic Network Activity

Examples include browsing history within the Services, search activity, interactions with products, pages, advertisements, emails, cookies, and device data.

Approximate Geolocation

OLO may derive an approximate location from an IP address for security, analytics, localization, or shipping-related purposes.

Inferences

OLO may create inferences about product preferences, likely interests, or shopping behavior.

Sensitive Personal Information

Depending on how you use the Services, OLO or its service providers may process account log-in credentials, payment information, or precise delivery information necessary to fulfill a transaction.

OLO uses sensitive personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide requested products and services, protect accounts, process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with law. OLO does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about customers.

Categories of Sources

The categories described above may come from:

  • You directly.
  • Your browser or device.
  • Shopify.
  • Payment processors.
  • Shipping and fulfillment providers.
  • Analytics and advertising partners.
  • Fraud-prevention providers.
  • Social media services.
  • Referral or promotional partners.
  • Other individuals or publicly available sources.

Categories Disclosed for Business Purposes

OLO may disclose the relevant categories of identifiers, commercial information, transaction records, internet activity, approximate geolocation, inferences, and sensitive information to service providers and contractors for the business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Categories That May Be Sold or Shared Under State-Law Definitions

When advertising, analytics, or cross-context technologies are enabled, the following categories may be disclosed in a manner considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain state laws:

  • Identifiers.
  • Commercial information.
  • Internet or electronic network activity.
  • Approximate geolocation.
  • Inferences regarding preferences or interests.

OLO does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Exercising Privacy Rights

To submit a privacy request, email olo.shop@hotmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.”

Include:

  • Your full name.
  • The email address associated with your OLO account or orders.
  • Your state of residence.
  • The right you wish to exercise.
  • Details reasonably necessary to understand the request.

OLO may request additional information to verify your identity and protect personal information from unauthorized access or deletion. OLO will use verification information only for the verification process and related legal compliance.

OLO may be unable to fulfill a request when it cannot reasonably verify the requester, when an exception applies, or when OLO is legally required to retain the information. When required, OLO will explain the decision.

Authorized Agents

Where applicable law permits, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf.

OLO may require:

  • Proof that you authorized the agent.
  • Verification of the agent’s identity.
  • Direct confirmation from you.
  • A valid power of attorney or another legally sufficient authorization.

Appeals

If OLO denies a privacy request and applicable law grants an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to the decision or emailing olo.shop@hotmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”

Include the original request and the reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Where required by applicable law, OLO will process a recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.

Because such a signal may not identify an account holder, it may apply only to the specific browser or device. A signed-in customer may need to submit an additional account-level request.

Some browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, the Services may not respond to those signals except where they qualify as a legally recognized opt-out mechanism.

Data Retention

OLO retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Maintain an account or customer relationship.
  • Process orders, returns, refunds, and warranties.
  • Detect and prevent fraud.
  • Maintain security and business records.
  • Satisfy tax, accounting, contractual, and legal obligations.
  • Resolve disputes.
  • Enforce agreements.

The retention period depends on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, legal requirements, and whether continued retention is reasonably necessary.

When information is no longer required, OLO may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it, subject to technical and legal limitations.

Data Security

OLO uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No online transmission, payment system, or storage method is completely secure. OLO cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and should notify OLO promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 years of age.

OLO does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If OLO learns that it collected such information without legally valid parental consent, OLO will take reasonable steps to delete it.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact olo.shop@hotmail.com.

International Visitors

OLO operates in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where OLO, Shopify, or service providers operate.

Data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your country.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, social networks, payment services, or applications.

OLO does not control the privacy practices of third parties. Review their privacy notices before providing personal information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

OLO may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, Shopify settings, service providers, or business practices.

The revised policy will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, OLO will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
